The Buffalo Renaissance Foundation's 39th Annual Golf Outing

Have you heard of the Buffalo Renaissance Foundation? This group of local Western New York business owners has been around since 1981, with the consistent goal of helping the local community grow and prosper. Sitting BRF President Michael Modrzynski also happens to be the proud owner and CEO of Allied Mechanical. Michael has been a proud member of the BRF for over 15 years, and because of that, Allied has been tied in closely with the BRF’s fundraising activities for quite some time.

This week Allied was honored (and honestly, excited!) to again sponsor the BRF’s Golf Outing, this year being it’s 39th year. Kicking off the nice weather with this golf outing may have seemed completely normal, however the event is usually held at the end of the summer. Moving the event to May was a suggestion made to accommodate the ever changing COVID guidelines, and ended up being a slam-dunk. Our day kicked off at 7:00 AM with a sunny 56ºF and went up quickly from there. The sun was out, and the golf balls were flying!
The event was a huge success with approximately 40 foursomes getting in 18 holes of golf in one day! Allied was well represented with various banners around the course, our own Alex & Jenn running the registration table, and of course our owner/Director of the BRF golfing in the event alongside David, our Senior PM.

One of our favorite things to do as a company is support great organizations like the BRF with sponsorships, donations, and volunteer time. This Golf Outing hit all three nails on the head. We had a great day, and are looking forward to the next one!
