Ronald McDonald House - Installing a New Office Cooling System

The Ronald McDonald House in Buffalo serves families with children battling health issues at Oishei Children’s Hospital, Sisters Hospital, and Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The overall mission of this amazing organization is to allow families to focus on their children and not housing, food, transportation. This simple support makes such a difference to the families they serve, giving them peace of mind when the world around them doesn’t make sense.

When the Ronald McDonald House reaches out with an HVAC-related request, we are quick to answer! Connected through a mutual friend in the industry, Allied was brought in to design and install a cooling system for the conference center at the Ronald McDonald House in Buffalo. Our design team quickly supplied a solution, and the METUS (Mitsubishi Electric Trane US) ductless system was installed.
This specific system included two indoor heads and an outdoor condenser. The larger indoor unit was installed in their conference room, and the smaller unit was installed in an office space. This placement allowed for the most cooling in the most important areas, while still allowing the conditioned air to flow through the entire building.
Work like this is work we enjoy doing: providing a great organization like the Ronald McDonald House with a low cost, high success solution. The conference center that they use to conduct important business is now comfortable in the summer months. What seems like a inconsequential problem, when taken care of can have a big impact.
We were so happy to work with this organization, and look forward to future endeavors!
